Functional Training provides you with the strength, stability and mobility you need to be Fit for Life using basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, hinging, squatting, rotating, carrying and running.
Every movement or exercise is task orientated with a purpose and a goal. Whilst a squat is a complex exercise for power-lifters it is also an everyday movement used when standing up and sitting down. To correctly perform a full squat, your body must be functional enough to utilise enough balance, flexibility and strength.
At X-FT we use the fundamentals of Functional Training to help get you Fit for Life, whether that be for competitive sport or just to enjoy your everyday life to the full.
Each session is tailored to provide a full body workout that will improve strength, agility and aerobic capacity. No two sessions are ever the same to avoid stagnating and maintain enjoyment.
We use a range of equipment and exercises including Kettlebells, Battleropes, TRX, Boxing, Slam Balls, Agility Ladders, Resistance Bands and the always loved Assault Bike!
